The Executive Director of the $700M turnover QLD care provider Blue Care, Robyn Batten, has notified parent Uniting Care QLD that she will be moving on in June to join eHealth innovator Borderless Healthcare. She will have held the position for six years. Previously she was Executive Director of Uniting Aged Care Victoria and Tasmania for four years. She is also Executive Director of Australian Regional and Remote Community Services and a National Board Director of Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA).

Last Tuesday a single bullet travelled through the window of a Bethania (SE QLD) aged care room, missing the 92-year-old male resident. However it did damage his curtains, television, his wardrobe and plasterboard wall. Police are investigating. It must have been a substantial bullet.

They attempted to break into several Farrington Retirement Village homes at Nambucca (northern NSW coast).
