In 1992 husband and wife, Graeme and Christine Hellings began the stages of building a senior community with the plan to provide a lifestyle option that offered affordability and peace of mind within a safe and secure environment.

The first village, Mayfair Gardens Easy Living Village (now Park Lane Living Traralgon), became not only an alternative lifestyle option for the residents of Gippsland, but a community of homeowners enjoying the best stages of retirement together. Over the years, Easy Living Villages rapidly grew into a group of five great retirement village options across Victoria; Traralgon and Traralgon West, Shepparton, Bendigo and the most recent addition, Wonthaggi.

Easy Living Villages has been operating for almost 30 years, making it one of the oldest lifestyle village operators in Victoria. Now supported by their two sons Luke and Joshua plus a great support team of people, 2020 marks a new era for the family business.

A small re-brand of the communities to Park Lane Living in honour of the address of the original Traralgon village, Park Lane Living will continue to be a genuine family run lifestyle business that cares about the long term benefits their villages offer to their residents.
