Relax, unwind and enjoy retirement…
Maryborough Primary School No. 2828 is of architectural and historical significance to the State of Victoria as it reflects the economic boom of Victoria in the 1880s.
Today the Schoolhouse is the central feature of the village and is home to community and residents activities and gatherings.
With multiple rooms it is the perfect place to sit and read a book, exercise, play games, snooker and cards with friends, enjoy a art craft activity day or just relax and watch television.
The restoration and renovation was lovingly undertaken by owners Sandy & Gale Davidson, who ensured the historic features remained – such as the original schoolroom blackboards and gorgeous ‘A, B, C’s'… though have also provided a modern and comfortable building for the residents to enjoy.
Sandy and Gale are hands on and regular features around the village – constantly landscaping, building and making improvements inside and out, their love of this building shows through.
“We love seeing the residents enjoying the facilities and are thrilled the Schoolhouse Village is such a huge part of the Maryborough community’s special events.” Gale Davidson
