18 months ago the Adelaide scrap metal family, the Browns, approached retired retirement village veteran Loretta Byers to guide them in creating an iconic retirement village overlooking Adelaide CBD.
The $200 million project has just been submitted to the Development Assessment Commission for approval. Located on a 5500 m² site in North Adelaide overlooking Adelaide Oval to the city, the retirement village component will consist of three apartment towers with close to 100 units. They will be priced from $750,000 to $1.5 million for 2 and 3 bedrooms. The village will feature rooftop bars, swimming pool and café.
On the same site will be a separate tower of 100 serviced tourist apartments.
The architect is Paul Pruszinksi.
