Bethanie, Western Australia’s not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider has announced their latest retirement living project on the existing Bethanie Esprit Retirement Village site in Eaton, a north-eastern suburb of Bunbury.

The 34 Bethanie Esprit Cottages, will be architecturally designed single story terrace housing with 2-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom and rear entry double garage, designed to be private and low maintenance.

Located adjacent to the Village club house allowing easy access for residents, the cottages will include features such as a full-size kitchen, covered outdoor living, wide corridors and doorways, a courtyard and rear entry double garage.

According to Bethanie CEO Chris How, the cottages which start at $290,000, have been designed to provide a more affordable living option, without any compromise on quality, by providing a smaller housing type to the existing 82 villas in the Village.

Bethanie Esprit is an established village with facilities such as clubhouse, heated swimming pool, bowling green, mini golf, gym, craft room, hair salon, library, bar and dining room, caravan parking and an active Men’s Shed.

Construction of the 34 cottages will occur over three stages with stage one estimated to begin in April 2019.

Estimated completion date for all 34 cottages is August 2022.
