Catholic HealthCare has purchased the former Maroubra Sports (Bowling) Club for $28.5 million with plans to build a new aged care hub for the area. The site, which was owned by the Maroubra RSL sub-branch and leased to the Sports Club for the last 50 years, will now be home to a new campus providing residential care, respite and home care services to the local area.
It is located one block from Maroubra Beach.
