The 100 year old NSW Not For Profit plans to expand the existing Horizons Village in west Dubbo, which it purchased five months ago, from 120 to 200 units and build a 60-bed aged care facility (low care and high care) on 10,000 square metres of land next door.

Located within Delroy Park Estate, the village features single-level two and three bedroom villas and is just five minutes’ walk to the local shopping centre and a short drive to the city centre by car or village bus.

Features of Horizons Village include a community centre, resident bar/happy hour, library, games room, heated indoor pool, barbeque area as well as caravan and boat storage area.

According to acting deputy chief executive officer (CEO) Illana Halliday the residents and the community will also have access to RSL LifeCare’s new home care service “LifeCare at Home” which will help village residents maintain their lifestyle through in-home help.
