Not-for-profit provider, Uniting has recently commenced a major development at the existing Uniting Lakeview Shellharbour site, in Wallaroo Drive.

This will mean an additional 78 independent living apartments with one, two or three bedrooms on the site. Other facilities will include a State of the Art clubroom and activity room, health consulting rooms, outdoor community and BBQ areas and undercover parking.

All units will comply with Universal Design Standards providing easy access for seniors and the easy provision of in-home community care services, empowering the residents to live full lives in their homes for as long as possible according to Uniting Director Independent living Helen Wood.

The main construction work is expected to be completed in early 2019.
