Feeling alone and low, Bernard finally agreed to his son's suggestions that he make the move from Perth to Brisbane.

On top of loneliness he had a few health challenges that normally would have required him to consider entering an aged care facilty - which he did not want. His son found Tall Trees Tanah Merah, a retirement village that has full care facilities built in. Another resident was Madge and the two have been inseperable ever since.

They both have a strong vitality for life and at Tall Trees they discovered that here is an alternative to aged care. They each have their own home with full kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities, but Tall Trees also has 24/7 nursing staff on call to help in their care needs.

This has allowed them to enjoy a rich, new life togther plus they dont have to worry about ever having to move again. They can see out their days at Tall Trees.

Tall Trees has five locations, from Banora Point in the South, to Caboolture in the North.
