Many elderly people in Ballina were happy to see the newest aged care facility in Ballina open its doors.

Ballina Community Aged Care has around 90 qualified staff who will care for the facility’s residents. 70 people have already moved in, the remaining space in the 122 bed, state of the art complex is expected to fill quickly.

Local MP Don Page unveiled a plaque commemorating the opening of the building on North Creek Road in Ballina.
