Private aged care operator Japara Healthcare lodged its prospectus this week, looking to raise $450M. It received applications worth over $1 billion from institutions.
The prospectus values the company at $525M and places a price-earnings ratio of 19.
Six weeks ago the optimistic valuation on the company was $400M, demonstrating the heat developing for aged care assets.
