Making art with a group of three-and-four-year-olds once a month is the highlight of an intergenerational program at ACH Group residential care home Colton Court in McLaren Vale, 38km south of Adelaide CBD.

The pre-schoolers from McLaren Vale Montessori Children’s Centre have become good friends with where they take part in a range of special activities, including an annual visit from Adelaide Hills wildlife sanctuary Warrawong2U.

Colton Court resident 91-year-old Nancy Whitcher says, 

“We enjoy having the kids come down. We all look forward to seeing them and I think the little ones really enjoy spending time with us, too.”

ACH Group runs intergenerational playgroups and activities across its residential care homes.
