The South Australian aged care company is offering up to twenty trainee positions in nursing, administration and programme coordination to ex-Holden workers who chose voluntary redundancy packages last year.

The offer is in response to a taskforce that was set up to help them find work in SA.

Jane Mussared, a spokesperson for ACH, said they were delighted to help.

"For someone to move from a very process-based industry in manufacturing to the person-centred approach that is aged care ... is a big change," she said.

As well as trainee positions, ACH advertises about 170 positions internally each year.
