Winners of the annual Lend Lease Capturing Village Life photography competition were recently announced.

High-quality images were received across three categories: Adventurous Retirees, Community Spirit and Natural Beauty.

Brentwood Village impressed judges with a high number of entries, some 37 in total, reflecting the artistic endeavour of residents in the retirement village.

“We have many skilled photographers at Brentwood and the competition is certainly a great opportunity to showcase these talented residents,” said manager Jamie Sterland.

Winners in each category were Lynn Howell’s Allora Singers (Community Spirit), Michelle Kennan’s What A Way To Spend My 66th Birthday (Adventurous Retirees - pictured) and Paul Stone’s Red Crown (Natural Beauty).

The top 12 photographs will feature in the 2013 Lend Lease Calendar.
