Hometown Australia Communities has bought the 301-site Laurieton Residential Resort at Lakewood, an idyllic suburb of the Camden Haven region of the NSW Mid North Coast.
Laurieton Residential Resort adds to the four existing land lease communities Hometown Australia Communities owns and operates in the region: Newport Lake Macquarie, Taskers Port Macquarie, The Retreat Port Macquarie and Glenfern Thrumster, which is 26km further north of Lakewood, and is under construction.

Pet-friendly Laurieton, which is an established community in landscaped gardens, has a gym and wellness centre, indoor and outdoor heated pools and a bowling green, has no vacancies at the of publication.
Hometown Australia Communities owns and operates 54 Over 55s resorts in NSW, QLD and SA. It has also applied to build a new community in Yamba, Far North NSW.
