With 11 communities being built or in the planning phase, Lifestyle Communities CEO James Kelly is hard to catch.

But if his community Lifestyle Meridian at Clyde North, 46km southeast of Melbourne’s CBD, which is being built, is mentioned, he can’t help himself.

“The most exciting project we are building at the moment is Lifestyle Meridian which is just next level in what we are offering in community facilities as well as the design of the homes,” he told villages.com.au.

“We are also building Australia’s largest integrated micro grid installing 400KW of solar and 150KW of batteries. This will halve the homeowners’ electricity bills which makes living in a Lifestyle Community even more affordable.”

Lifestyle Meridian will have 274 home sites. 51 were sold as of December last year, with sales starting three months earlier. Its website states only 26 homes are for sale, starting from $394,000.

“I would just love to share with you all that's going on at Meridian and St Leonards but being publicly listed I have to be careful,” said James.

“What I can say is that the clubhouse is well progressed at Meridian, and we have started pre-settlement inspections with our first homeowners.

“St Leonards is absolutely flying and the new clubhouse is just next level. Our homeowners are just loving it.”

In the Half-Year Financial Report to the ASX, Lifestyle St Leonards had sold 127 of 359 homes as of December last year. Only five homes are for sale on its website, from $434,000.

“Super busy times and we are all shoulders to the wheel on all fronts,” added the CEO.

The Melbourne-based business is selling new communities at Mount Duneed, Kaduna Park, Wollert, Deanside, St Leonards and Meridian. 13 Lifestyle Communities were 100% occupied of December last year.
